How do you plan to utilize a career in STEM to positively impact the US in the future?<\/li>\n<li><strong>ESSAY REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong> The essay must be typed and doubled-space. The font must be 12 point Times New Roman with 1 inch margins and no more than 500 words in length.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>AFFIRM&#8217;s scholarship program supports STEM educational opportunities for <strong>students attending District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia accredited institutions.<\/strong> Each year, AFFIRM awards scholarships to promote the continued education of well-deserving students. AFFIRM annually determines the dollar amount of scholarships based on financial contributions received by the organization.<\/p>\n<p><strong>AFFIRM Annual Scholarship<\/strong> &#8211; Both high school seniors and current undergraduate students are eligible for this scholarship. The applicants must be pursuing a college or university degree with a major in computer sciences, information sciences, or any STEM-related field. <em>Previous AFFIRM Annual Scholarship recipients may not reapply.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Art &amp; Ronnie Chantker AFFIRM College Scholarship<\/strong> &#8211; Only high school seniors from Ward 7 or 8 in the District of Columbia are eligible for this scholarship.
